The Advantages of Being Married

Nowadays, many people do not want to get married as much as their parents generation did. They want to be single. In last few decades, the number of singles has remarkably increased. However being married has much more benefits than being single. The three advantages of being married are emotional stability, family and finances.
The biggest advantage of being married is an emotional stability. First, people who got married have their own family as shelter for their social life. A lot of people are having a hard time in their work places ,and sometimes there are too much hazard to endure. The home and family gives comport zone and energy to restore. Also, love is one of strong advantages from being marriage. For instance, people who are single have chance to have lovers, however their love is not endurable for life time. On the other hand, being married, their love is committed.
The other advantage from being married is to be a family. All of people have born and grown in family which was formed by their parents. First, married people have life long partners, spouses. The marriage gives togetherness and role as husband and wife in family. They have to have responsibility and they will be in a same boat forever. Second, marriage is chance to be a part in spouse’s family. They could have new parents, brothers and sisters. Third, they could have children. If people have children, then they could learn how their parents have lived for them. To be a parent gives enormous advantage in their life and raises person to be more than they could do before they were.
Furthermore, there are magnificent benefits from the marriage. As first, married people have better condition than to be alone. They have double income, so they could be affordable then before they were. Also, they do not get necessarily same price of tax as one. They are assumed that they are sharing their expenses, so they live less expensively amount of money, even if single person makes same amount of money. Third, they are sharing that a house, car and food. They should pay less bill for basic living conditions. Therefore they make more money but spend less money.
All in all, there is a lot of advantages that people take from being married, such as mental advantages which is based on family and commitment love, and more financial merit than one. Most of all, in my opinion, to be a parent is biggest thing that they are blessed with marriage life.

Is it ever okay to lie? In which circumstances?

In my opinion, people have to control to lie. There are some reasons for that. First, if someone starts to lie, it will be getting bigger even he/she do it in good way. A lie makes another lie, andn it will do over again. Also, to lie to help others is not ever kay. Even someone tell a lie to help others, sometimes it could hurt others. To sum up, people should try to do not tell a lie even it is for helping others.

Does it matter what strangers think of you? Do you care if everyone likes you or are you content just being yourself? Write a paragraph explaining your answer.

I do not care what people think of me, so why would I care if they like me or not? When I was teenager, I used to care what people thought of me, and how I looked to other people. At that time, it was pretty stressful for me. Every single time after when I hung out with my friends, I did think "Did I do something to annoy her?" or "What did she think about me when I talk to her?". I have realized it was useless thinking. I tried to change the way I think, and I don't care about other people think about me anymore. I've realized it doesn't matter what strangers think of me because they are no one that's part of my life. I would rather care about my friends, family, and people who I actually see everyday think about me rather than strangers. I wanted to be loved by others but I know that never be possible. It seems like I want to change myself just, so people would like me and I know that was not really who I was. I didn't like who i was becoming. So when I was trying to become a person like that, it seems like that I was loosing myself instead of being myself. To sum up, now I am trying to pay attention what I really want to do, and I am sure I do not care what other people think of me.

A Dancer

One full moon night in the rainy season, a man who lived in an apartment on the 13th floor felt alone and bored. His apartment had lost electricity because of the thunderstorm. Therefore, he held a candle in his hand and then put it on the table. Suddenly, the window was opened by the wind. Then he tried to close the window. At that moment, he looked at the opposite building, and he saw a woman who was dancing. However, he couldn’t see her clearly because there was the heavy rain. Strangely, he didn’t see her again until the next full moon, and she was still dancing. She wore a white dress, and she danced like a butterfly. He fell in love with her and really wanted to meet her. In the next morning, he went to her apartment, but no one answered the door. Next time when he saw her in full moon night again, he ran to her apartment immediately. He knocked on the door, and he waited for her. A few minutes later, he knocked again, and the door opened slowly. He went inside slowly and saw a dirty room with old furniture and many spider webs. The room smelled disgusting. When he walked into the room where she was dancing, he couldn’t believe his eyes. There was an empty room except for a noose swinging back and forth by the wind.

Topic: There are three types of people in this world. (Don't give easy answers like "tall, short, fat, skinny, etc.")

There are over 7 billions of people in this world, and every person has their own individual character. However, we could devide them by three characteristics. First of all, there are maximizers. The maximizers are kind of disposition toward to maximize their achievements. They are wondering to be 'higher' and get 'much more'. For example, they have to get the best job, to be consider as the best co-workers and they want more salaries. Therefore, there are lots of successes in maximizers. However, they can never satisfy until they achieve their goals and when they distinguish someone who succeed than themselves. They are uneasy to be happy. There are, indeed, many hypochondriacs who are maximizers. Another type of people is 'satisfier'. The satisfiers, in contrast, they think like 'not too bad'. For instance, they are like "I have a my own house even it is not in very good condition. I am better than homeless, am I?" or "I, on the other side of unemployeement, have a stable job. I am the lucky one.". They are positive, yer they are weak of purpose and upward because of they are satisfy the environment that they have. The final is life as a dayfly. They do not worry about tommorow, and they do not even have a any of plan for their futures. Some of them are the poor who can not even image except for lifehood. On the other hands, some of them have parents in prosperity. They do not have to worry about reality, and they are just enjoy to being spoiled children even they are adults . To sum up, maximizers could never happy even they have a lot. Satisfiers are happy but nondescript. The last one is neither one thing nor the other. Then, isn't God really fair?

The korean wedding Culture

In my country, Korea, has unique wedding culture. In early 1900s, the western culture started to come into Korea. At that time, the number of Korean people who had western style wedding had increased. After the Korean War, in 1960s, people was trying to go back to our traditional. Finally, Korean wedding culture like as now we doing shows up. It has mixed with traditional way and westerns. They have celebrate eve right before the wedding day. In the evening, groom and his friends bring a big box containing wedding presents of bridegroom to bride. The bride's friends welcome them, and they are having a party at the bride's home. In the wedding day, they have western wedding march with a white wedding dress and a tuxedo. After the march, they have a simple traditional event with Korean wedding dress. The wedding culture has changed a lot for a century because of history of my country, but the meaning of that has not changed. They swear by the God for their marriage, and the guests are witnesses for them.

What Is a Friend?

While we are living our life, we have met numerous people by providence. Sometimes they have became our friends but sometimes not. There is one of Korean proverbs about friendship. It is "A person who has true friends at least 3 people, he or she got successful life". In my opinion, a friend is the air. When I am staying with my friends, I don't have to worry about what am I talking or how do I behave for them. Instead, we are just feeing each other, and we are laughing when we happy or crying when we sad. Thus how do I live without the air? As second, true friends can say truth for each other. If I am trying to do something as a wrong way, there is no one who can take me to right way except for my friend. For the last, there has to be trust between friends. Even though no one help me or trust me, if I have my friend who sincerely believe me, that is enough for me. I could overcome that I have to do, and my life will be blessed if my true friends will stand by me like as now they do.
